Moab 2013 – White Rim Trail Day 3 Trip Report
19 June 2013

Our plan for the day was to take Lathrop Canyon Trail which ends at the Colorado River. Spend the afternoon at the river and head back to camp for dinner. The trail was a little more challenging than WRT but still a high GREEN maybe a low BLUE in some places. Our group consisting of

Jonathan Kalmes (member), yellow '06 LJ Rubi on 35's
Rob Kizer and Paul ?? (non-members), LJ Rubi on 35's
Doug and Robin Masnick (member), 93 Forerunner 32's?
Scott and Renee Corliss (member), red 2000 XJ on 35's?
Rich Martinez (member), 2011 JKUR on 35's (no trailer on this part as it was set up at camp)

didn't have any problems making down to the river and back. We enjoyed ourselves lounging around and swimming in the cool Colorado River. While we were there we saw a river otter swim past. That was such a cool site to see. Also a river touring boat with about 8 passengers stopped by for a quick break.
